About Me

My Background

For those of you that don’t know me, Hello. I am currently a senior at Pittsburgh Central Catholic. I am 19 years old and I have dedicated my life to the game of baseball. Throughout the years of my life, I have met some pretty great people. I have learned things that people say no other teenage baseball player probably knows. There aren’t words for how grateful I am for the people that took a shot on me and gave me the chance to come train under them. But none of this would have started without an injury that turned my life for the better.

At 12 years old I was diagnosed with a fractured radial head in my throwing arm and needed a repair that would take two surgeries. They needed to go in, put two screws in my elbow, close up and then do it all again two months later, but to take the screws out. The recovery process was long and hard. I went 6 months with nothing baseball related. This injury led my father to dive into the world of pitching and arm care. This is where he came across Kyle Boddy, the owner and creator of Driveline Baseball. So at 15 years old, I was one of the youngest athletes to go train at the now most prestigious baseball facility in the world. The trainers I met there would become mentors and role models I’d have for life. Driveline was the first time I felt confident throwing since my injury. To this day I still do all of the Driveline protocols and drills I learned there. Shoutout to Rob, Tanner, Tosh, Sam, and Kyle R. I miss you guys like crazy. Hope all is well.

After that summer I spent at Driveline, I went to a different baseball facility every summer. I wanted to become the most intelligent and strongest athlete I could be. Each place taught me different ways of how I could better myself. After Driveline, I went to the Florida Baseball Ranch. There I learned how important it was for me to become more mobile and become stronger in uncomfortable positions. They unlocked the next few ticks for my velo and shaped the athlete I have become today. My next stop was to see Coach John Sangillo. A man who has become a second father to me and taught me how to swing the best I could. Without him I surely would not be where I am today. Much love coach! After John I went to see Brantley with my man Michael Krauza. We roomed together on Brantley's guest room for Christmas break and it was an experience I will cherish forever. Brantley opened my eyes to pitching mechanics. I realized that the movement isn’t one big machine. It’s split into two major parts, the lower half and upper half. He helped me fix my shortcomings in my lower half and gave me a chance to pitch again. My most recent trip was to New Jersey to train with who I consider one of the best strength trainers in the world, Nunzio Signore (RPP Baseball). I can’t thank him enough for everything he is doing for me and I look forward to the future under his program.

So that’s the bulk of my story. A long list of people who took a shot on me and weren’t disappointed. I am currently committed to play Division 1 baseball in the ACC for the University of Pittsburgh. Nothing makes me more happier than the chance to stay home so my family that’s done so much for me can watch me play whenever they want. If you’re one of the people I mentioned above and you found this project, thank you. You made me the athlete I am today. The most influential and important of them all is my dad. You have allowed me to reach my potential and continue to help me every step of the way. And to all of the boys at PVS. I Love y’all. Enjoy the website! I’ll do my best to post as often as I can.
